Our house is ridden with cooties. Today I had to take Gryffin to the doctor. He’s been running fevers, coughing, and is generally miserable. Last week it was Isabelle, who had mild walking pneumonia, ear, sinus, and throat infections. The weeks before that, Nathan. Last week I got hit with a really bad bladder infection. We can’t seem to get healthy in this household.

I have no idea what’s going on but it’s getting old.

We are now on our 2nd week without gluten and casein and it is going well. It is certainly difficult as we are so limited with what the kids can eat. But I notice changes in Nathan – he is not so congested any more, and in Isabelle, in terms of her behavior and the consistency of her poop. I’m hoping we can keep it up as I think it’s better for all of us in the long run.

And now I have to go wipe some more runny noses.
